Faces and Voices of Recovery. A national organization advocating support of long-term recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs. This site provides timely information about issues impacting recovery.  

National Association for Children of Alcoholics. Helpful information and resources for children with an alcoholic parent.
 
Directory of Addictions Resources. An online resource for a variety of health-related issues.

JoinTogether. Daily news stories about alcohol and other drugs, and gun violence, prevention and treatment topics, on-line smoking cessation program, grant information. Free daily e-mail subscription available with timely news stories.

Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA). Tips and information about organizing a community coalition to prevent substance abuse. Links to other resources.

Drug-Free Action Alliance. This statewide prevention organization is one of Ohio’s leading resources for helping communities prevent the abuse of alcohol and use of other drugs. Free literature about organizing local prevention efforts and many other topics.
 
Ohio Alliance of Recovery Providers.  A statewide association of alcohol and other drug treatment and prevention providers working to increase access to treatment, seek additional funding resources; and provide a unified voice for the addiction and recovery providers to ODADAS, the legislature, and the residents of Ohio.
 
The Ohio Council of Behavioral Health & Family Service Providers. A trade association representing provider organizations throughout Ohio that provide behavioral health and family services to their communities.
 
The Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities.  OACBHA is the statewide organization that represents the interests of all of Ohio’s county Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Boards at the state level. The Association works with a variety of governmental bodies including the Ohio General Assembly, the Office of the Governor, the Ohio Department of Mental Health, the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, and other organizations and coalitions to seek support for initiatives that will help expand and enhance mental health and substance abuse prevention, treatment and support services.

Racing for Recovery. Racing for Recovery is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing individuals from becoming addicted to alcohol or drugs and offering a positive alternative to those currently battling addictions.

Recovery is Everywhere.  Recovery is everywhere is a public education campaign with three objectives:  to reduce the stigma, offer hope, and normalize recovery.  You may request the files for any of the ads on this site for FREE if you want to run them in your community.
